Foap App Review- Sell Your Photos and Make Money

Foap is a mobile photo booth app for Android and iOS devices that I discovered during an event that had a photo booth in Vancouver (source: Finderr). I also saw a few guys renting photos booth in Brisbane that were using this app as well. Actually, all of the merchants listed on Oz Finder and Finderr use it.  It lets you make money by uploading videos and images to your photo booth created by you. It is mainly known for its massive collection of stunning photos and not so much for videos. You can upload your photo straight from your phone and it will be out there for sale. Sell the same picture as many times you want. You share half of your profits with Foap. Buyers can reach out to you on Foap Market.

About Foap photo booth app

Foap is a five-person team with offices in Sweden, the USA, and Poland. Recently, they have been featured on popular online magazines like Entrepreneur, MarTechSeries, TechCrunch, and Wired. In May 2018, it was also featured in the New York Times. Furthermore, Foap has a huge community of amateur photographers who post original and unique content regularly. In 2019, they have grown to have more than 3 million photo-and-videographers.

Features of Foap App

1. Get more value for high-quality videos and photos

To become successful at selling photos and videos on Foap Marketplace, you will need to build a stunning portfolio. You can build your portfolio for taking photos with your photo booth at your client’s events. The portfolio is the second thing(after an image on sale) a buyer will look at, before deciding to buy from you regularly. Hence, the higher the quality of your content, the more price a seller will pay for it.

2. You can add relevant tags

Foap lets you add 5 to 100 tags to each of your photos or videos. Tags are essential from a Search Engine Optimization point of view. You don’t want your content to be hidden in the database without any exposure. This is where tags come into play.

3. Foap has a community called “The Foapers”

Meet and share your knowledge with other passionate visual content creators in the Foap Community. It also has plenty of articles on how to be a better seller. This community is built for dedicated people who wish to learn from other successful people and follow their footsteps to glory.

What I like about the Foap App

I like the customer service of Foap. They even respond to your problems via email. No matter what problem you have with the app, they will respond at a fast pace, without any delay.

Another things this that is unique about Foap is that it makes you fall in love with the art of photography itself. Once you install and use this app, you will look at the world from the eyes of a photographer. The last sentence might sound cheesy to some people but it improves your skill twofold.

What I don’t like about Foap photo booth App

This app does not work well on budget cell phones. Some cell phone users with brands like Oppo or Huawei have faced problems like crashing. But it works fine on Samsung Galaxies and iPhones. This is the only downside I feel this app has.

My recommendation

I would recommend the Foap app to anyone who loves photography and photo booths or wants to get into it. And while doing so, also wants to make money. Foap allows you to start your career as a photographer with zero initial investment. All you need is your cell phone and a good internet connection.
