I went to the 49ers game at Levi’s stadium and checked out these lower bowl seats in Section 144, Row 29.
It was for a game against the Lions, and the tickets ran us $290 each. We bought them on SeatGeek.
When the year started, we thought this would be a huge matchup with playoff implications. But it turned out the Niners were already out of playoff contention. That affected the energy before and during the game, but it was still really fun from my perspective.
These were solid seats, though not cheap. If you’re looking to save money on your Niners game day experience, these are not the right seats for you. Generally, going to 49ers games is not a cheap hobby to begin with.
These seats are facing the side of the endzone. What we found is that if the plays were taking place on the other side of the field, we didn’t have a great view. But when the plays were occurring in our endzone, we had some really fun views of the action.
This was a picture that was just right down the steps from our seats. You can see how we’re right there for any plays that take place in this end zone.
Our day started with a tailgate in the blue lot before the game. My buddy made some chicken and asado with his barbecue. Everyone in the lot was in great spirits and there was awesome camaraderie among everyone. I noticed that the blue lot has way more bathroom facilities than the green lot, which is interesting because the green lot is noticeably more expensive.
On the way in to the game, we came across this cool statue in front the stadium:
This was a night game, so we didn’t have to worry about the sun and whether or not we were in the shade. But this section is on the “home” side of the stadium, and if it had been a day game, we would have been shaded.
Typically, seats on the home side cost more. We waited and got a good deal on these, though. It probably helped that the Niners were out of playoff contention. If it were a playoff game, the seats might have costed twice as much.

Overall, I loved the seats and enjoyed being around these fans. I would get these seats again in a heartbeat. I feel like they offered a good balance between price and quality, and I was comfortable with the tradeoff.
Now if only the Niners could win next time I go!
