October 2015 Blog Income Report

Hey guys, Cat here! Things were a little slower in October than in September, but such is life. That is why you have to diligent about budgeting to compensate for income fluctuations when you are self-employed.

I’ve always treated this site like the cherry on top of my sundae rather than relying on it to pay my bills or provide for my family. This is our “something extra” that we can use for fun money, or to boost our saving and investments.

Here’s the official count of income and expenses for October:

Earnings:

Affiliate and Direct Advertising: $430.00

Expenses:

Help With the Blog: $116.00 (As many of you know, I have help in the form of virtual assistants here on RDS, and I also pay to regularly update the technical side of things.)

Guest Posts: $0.00 (We pay $5 per guest post to help people with their finances.)

So, Earnings – Expenses =

Total Income: $314.00 in profit
